About the Trip

Enjoy a scenic drive from Hobart to Eaglehawk Neck and Port Arthur. Our staff will point out some of the landmarks along the way and share with you stories of days gone by. Spend eight hours exploring the beautiful area and the Port Arthur Historic Site. Then rejoin us mid-afternoon and let us take you on a relaxing drive back to Hobart.

This is the perfect way to explore the Port Arthur Historic Site without the hassles of organising transport.

Essential Info

When?
The bus departs daily from Hobart at 8.00am and arrives at Port Arthur at 9.30am.
The bus leaves Port Arthur for the return journey at 5.30pm and arrives in Hobart at 7.00pm.
Tours run daily all year round except Christmas Day.

Where?
The bus trip departs the Hobart & Tasmania's South Visitor Information Centre at 8am daily. Trip takes you from Hobart to Port Arthur return where you will have 8 hours to explore Port Arthur at your own leisure.

Children under 17 years $55
Children under 3 travel free

Getting There

You will need to make your own arrangements to and from the departure/arrival point in Hobart, and also for all transfers to and from our Port Arthur booking office once you arrive in Port Arthur.
