Let us take you on a day of adventure - exploring the rugged coastline of the Tasman. Our full day tour leaves Hobart at 8am and returns at 5pm. Your day with us will most certainly be a day to remember - from marvelling at the highest sea cliffs in the southern hemisphere, cruising through the narrow passageways at The Candlestick and experiencing the vast array of wildlife throughout the trip.

The day includes:

  • Bus transfers from Hobart to Port Arthur
  • 3 hour eco-cruise
  • Morning tea and lunch
  • Return transfers to Hobart with complimentary Hobart Hotel drop-off

Onboard our 3 hour eco cruise you will see and experience:

  • The highest sea cliffs in the southern hemisphere at Cape Pillar
  • Hundreds of seals, pods of dolphins and perhaps even migrating whales
  • Abundant bird species in their thousands
  • Slender dolerite spires and sea stacks
  • Deep sea caves
  • Waterfalls tumbling into the sea
  • Sandstone rock formations carved by the ocean
  • A wild, remote and pristine coastline
  • The sheer power and awesome beauty of the Southern Ocean

Note: There is an optional extra 2.5 hour visit to Port Arthur Historic site for $55 on request.

 

Itinerary

8.00 am Meet our bus at the Hobart & Tasmania's South Visitor Information Centre, corner of Elizabeth and Davey Street Book Now
  Arrive at Port Arthur
  3 hour eco-cruise to Tasman Island
  Morning tea and lunch
5.00 pm Arrive back in Hobart with hotel drop-off

 

Essential Info

When?
Cruises operate daily departing 8am and returning 5.00pm.
Tours run daily all year round except Christmas Day.

Where?
Cruises depart daily from Hobart & Tasmania's South Visitor Information Centre at 8am.
This office is located on the corner of Elizabeth and Davey street.

How Much?
Adults $165
Children $110 (aged 3-16)
Children under 3 yrs travel free.
